Privacy Policy

MidTerm Stays (mid-termstays.com) is operated by FP Labs LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, and what happens to it. "We," "us," and "our" mean MidTerm Stays. Read this together with our Terms of Service, which it is incorporated into by reference.

What We Collect

What you give us:

• Your name, email, and phone number if you use our quote request tool.
• Search filters and stay preferences.
• If MidTerm Stays ever offers its own checkout for a booking (Section on "If You Book Directly," below), the information needed to process it. We don't store full payment card numbers ourselves; see that section.

What we collect automatically:

• Your approximate location, from your IP address.
• Device, browser, and usage data (pages viewed, how you got here).
• Cookies (see below).

How a Search Can End, and What That Means for Your Data

Most of what happens on MidTerm Stays falls into one of two paths, matching how the site itself works:

• If you click through to a partner site, anything you enter from that point forward goes to that site, under its own privacy policy. We only know that you clicked, not what you did after.
• If you submit a quote request, we collect your contact information and stay details and pass them to whoever is preparing your quote, so they can follow up with you directly. That may be us or a third party we work with; we'll try to make clear which at the time. If a third party is preparing the quote, they receive only what's needed to do that (your contact info and stay details), and any follow-up communication is between you and them, even if it references mid-termstays.com.

If You Book Directly Through MidTerm Stays

If MidTerm Stays later offers its own checkout for certain properties, this section applies to that flow. You'll authorize a charge to your payment method at that point, and the underlying payment data goes to the party actually processing it (MidTerm Stays or a booking technology provider we use, called a "Checkout Provider" in our Terms of Service), not stored by MidTerm Stays itself. Guest name and stay details are shared with the Accommodation Provider to fulfill the reservation.

Who We Share Information With

• Third parties preparing a quote or handling a booking, as described above.
• Accommodation Providers, to complete a booking (whether you're redirected to them or book through us directly).
• Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email delivery, customer support tools).
• Advertising and analytics partners (for example, Google), so we can measure and improve how people find the site. This can include click identifiers and browser/device data.
• Legal authorities, if the law requires it.

We don't sell your personal information for money.

Your Privacy Choices (California and Beyond)

If you're a California resident, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it, subject to some legal exceptions.

California's privacy law defines "sharing" more broadly than a cash sale, and it can cover what happens when we pass click identifiers or browser data to an ad partner so they can measure their own campaigns. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out request wherever the law requires us to. You can also reach the same result by emailing legal@mid-termstays.com and asking us to stop.

We won't treat you differently for asking.

Cookies

We and our advertising/analytics partners use cookies and similar tools to recognize your browser, see how the site is used, and measure which ads or searches bring people to a quote request or booking. You can turn cookies off in your browser (see aboutcookies.org for how); some parts of the site may work less well if you do.

How Long We Keep Your Information

There's no fixed deletion calendar today. In practice that means data tied to an open quote request or booking sticks around while it's active plus some reasonable follow-up window, and can last longer where accounting, legal, or dispute needs require it. As our processes mature we expect to set firmer numbers here.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, and we can't promise it will never be compromised.

This Site Isn't for Children

This site is meant for adults planning a stay, not children. We don't set out to collect anything from a child, and if you tell us one gave us information anyway (email legal@mid-termstays.com), we'll take it down.

Where Your Data Is Processed

MidTerm Stays runs on US-based systems, with some processing taking place in New Mexico. If you're reaching us from elsewhere, know that your information crosses into a legal system that may not protect it the same way yours does.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change when we do.
